  Nico Pfüller vom OX-Fanzine schreibt: Konzerte gibt es ja bekanntlich genügend, gelungene Dokumentationen über Musiker:innen eher weniger und noch überschaubarer ist die Anzahl der Veranstaltungen, die nicht nur das auf Zelluloid gebannte Ergebnis zeigen, sondern mit einer dazugehörigen Performance der Künstler:in einhergehen. Dietmar Post realisierte unter anderem einen Dokumentarfilm über die von US-Soldaten gegründete Garage-Beat Band THE MONKS und sein aktuelles Projekt, "Mona Mur in Conversation" beleuchtet die Karriere der 1960 in Hamburg geborenen Künstlerin. Mona Mur durchlief in der Vergangenheit diverse Projekte zum Beispiel mit FM Einheit und Alexander Hacke von den EINSTÜRZENDEN NEUBAUTEN.    War, declares Mona Mur upfront in this film of her in conversation with Dietmar Post, was always her theme, the Cold War her reality. Seated before a large TV monitor that has just screened her recent rendition of the Brecht/ Weill song “ Concerning A Drowned Girl" to Gerhard Schiewe's excellent accordion accompaniment in a Berlin courtyard, she economically pencils in its history in the course of chronologically unfolding her own story.
