Cineramarock freut sich am 25.6. 2010 um 22.15 Uhr in Zusammenarbeit mit play loud! productions den Film „Klangbad: Avant-Garde In The Meadows“ als deutsche Kinopremiere, begleitend zum gleichzeitigen DVD-Release, präsentieren zu dürfen. Regisseur Dietmar Post wird bei der Premiere anwesend sein und anschließend für Fragen zur Verfügung stehen. Die Berliner Musik Dokumentaristen Dietmar Post und Lucia Palacios sind das deutsche Pendant zu den Musik-Doku-Ikonen D.A. Pennebaker und Chris Hegedus. Cold Cave on Floating Di Morel Floating di Morel - More Memory Than Now (pl-09 ) Incredible album from the unsung Germans, one half of the group T.A.S.K. So simple and assured and depressing. Obviously in Velvets-via-German-underground territory, but less rock ‘n’ roll and more on the folkier morose end. Really worth finding is the rest of their recordings, particularly the 7” “2,” which is more effected and heavier, but still very opiated. all FdM releases available here

After the Moritz von Oswald Trio and Sunn o))), the 2009-2010 series presents a peculiar duo made up of FM Einheit and Hans-Joachim Irmler.  FM Einheit aka Mufti aka FM (Frank Martin Strauss) was a key member of the industrial noise band Einstürzende Neubauten until he left the group in the mid-90s ('boredom' was one reason for leaving, he says). Claiming to hear things other people wouldn't notice, he is always looking for particular sounds to fit his ideas and he usually finds them by behaving ferociously with industrial construction elements and various tools and devices. Gossip: Mönchs-Quickie sorgt für Jubel Helle Freude im Gossip-Lager: Ihre Coverversion des Monks-Songs "Drunken Maria" erscheint mit einem Song der legendären Post-Punk-Band The Raincoats auf einer Splitsingle. Splitsingle mit den eigenen Helden: Gossip. Konstanz ( mis ) - " Ein Gossip-Traum ist wahr geworden! ", tweetete die US-Band gestern aufgeregt per Facebook. " Unser Monks-Cover wurde für eine Splitsingle auserwählt und nun sind wir auf einer Platte mit The Raincoats.
